Jämsä Sauna Day

The whole Himos-Jämsä area will be all about saunas in June because the first-ever Jämsä Sauna Day event will happen on June 5, 2024, at different spots across Jämsä. This event is part of the bigger Central Finland Sauna Region Week and the global World Sauna Forum.

Experience the first-ever Jämsä Sauna Day on June 5, 2024, across various locations in Jämsä! The idea for Jämsä Sauna Day was brought to life by the Saunakylä Sauna Master, Saija Silen. The goal is to make this an annual event, bringing together Jämsä’s saunas to offer a unique sauna experience for locals and visitors alike. Saunakylä is the highlight of the event, offering delightful smoke sauna experiences from 4 pm to 8 pm, along with traditional sauna treatments throughout Sauna Day. Join us in making Jämsä Sauna Day an unforgettable event on our tourism calendar. Come and celebrate sauna culture together!
