Dog sledding
Jämsä has two husky farms which offer dog sledding trips in winter: Kievari Rantapirtti in Koskenpää (call +358 400 323 854 or email timo.niinimaki@kp-rantapirtti.fi) and McAhon Safaris in Arvaja. McAhon safaris also offer dog sledding trips in Himos during the high season. You can ride as a passenger and let the dogs lead, or you can learn to steer them yourself.
