Thrills and experiences
Dog-sledding
Dog-sledding is one of the most popular activities in Jämsä. You can play with the huskies at the farm, take a little spin around a field, sit back and let the dogs take you for a ride or learn how to drive the team yourself.
Downhill Skiing
The well-known Himos ski center is located in Jämsä. The slopes usually open in December, with the ski season running well until May Day. Snow world In Lumila, the little ones in the family have enough speed and fun all day long!
ATV safaris
The guided ATV safaris organised by Himos Safaris offer unforgettable experiences in the rugged Himos landscapes. If desired, you can also rent a ATV and choose your own route.
Snowmobiling

Cycling is suitable for all seasons. In the snowy winter landscapes, an electric-assist Fatbike makes it easy to ride along forest trails, perfect for both beginners and seasoned riders.
Winter swimming
